Do you want to enjoy meals on campus and save some of the time required by cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping? Purchase a voluntary meal plan package!
The Voluntary Meal Plan is designed for those who may not live in residence or need a full meal plan, but do enjoy eating on campus from time to time.
This pre-paid plan is ideal for students living in East Campus residences, as it provides convenient access to meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the nearby Peter Lougheed Hall; however, anyone working or studying on campus can purchase a voluntary meal plan, which is also valid at the Lister Dining Hall.
The plan offers significant savings, especially on lunch (11:00am-2:00pm) and dinner (4:00pm-8:00pm) rates. Voluntary meal plans are available to purchase online through the ONEcard website.

Once you have purchased a block of meals on your ONEcard account you have everything you need to enjoy meals at the dining hall in Peter Lougheed Hall and in the Lister Dining Hall. Simply tap your ONEcard at the entrance to gain access, then help yourself to a variety of choices. You can eat as much or as little as you choose during the designated meal period.
Note: your access is limited to ONE meal period per ONEcard entry tap. For example, if you enter the dining room during lunch and wish to stay for dinner, you will be required to exit and re-enter (after 4:00pm, when the dinner period begins) to tap your ONEcard a second time to spend another meal credit for the dinner period.
*Take-out is not available. All meals must be consumed in the dining room.*
You will receive an email receipt for your purchase and your block plan meal "swipes" will be automatically added to your ONEcard account.
You can visit both the Peter Lougheed Hall and Lister Dining Hall for a meal without purchasing a full plan. Simply pay the applicable walk-in rate listed below to enjoy a meal.
Note: all rates are subject to change, including meal plan values. All published rates reflect current values, and any approved changes are posted immediately. In the event of a discrepancy between the official rates and the rates published, the official rates shall prevail.
