Housing for students: COVID-19

Students who do NOT currently live in residence can now apply for housing in residence. Please review contract information and pricing. Current residents will have their contracts extended automatically.

ELIGIBILITY

University of Alberta students are eligible for Spring and/or Summer Residence. A UAlberta student is defined as: a student enrolled at UAlberta in an active degree program or a UAlberta student enrolled in Intersession courses. Eligible students MUST possess a valid UAlberta student ID number and a valid Campus Computing ID and password.

*Students not eligible for Spring/Summer Student Housing (i.e. students from other post-secondary institutions or students with an affiliation with the UAlberta outside of the above listed categories) may contact us at housing@ualberta.ca to inquire about accommodation options.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Complete the online application for the Spring and/or Summer Term.
  2. Check your e-mail: we will send eligible applicants a Room Offer email to your UAlberta email address.
  3. Applicants who have been offered a room must submit the online confirmation package and full payment (check your offer e-mail for instructions) no later than 12:00pm (noon) on the date listed in your Room Offer email. You will sign in using your CCID and password and be able to find the confirmation package underneath the appropriate contract title.

CANCELLATION POLICY

There is no penalty if you cancel your reservation prior to your arrival date.

IMPORTANT: There are NO refunds of the Residence deposit or contract fees if you cancel on or after your arrival date.

Please be reminded that the $25 application fee is non-refundable in all cases.
