Student Staff Opportunities with Residence Services

  • Student Staff Opportunities with Residence Services: Paid, regularly scheduled responsibilities & shift-work
  • Volunteer Roles in Residence: Unpaid, flexible time and responsibility commitments

Working in Residence Life provides you with the opportunity to develop and engage with your community on an entirely new level. You can be the reason behind someone’s awesome experience in residence and at university. Working in Residence Life means working as part of a dynamic team with diverse experiences and perspectives who support one another as you expand upon your own leadership skills. It will empower you with opportunities to develop your communication skills, supportive listening skills, conflict resolution skills, and collaboration skills.

Eligibility to work in Residence Life

  • Committed to contributing positively to the residence community and supporting students
  • GPA of 2.3 or higher
  • Full-time student for the time period you would be employed
  • Good standing with Residence Services
  • The majority of our positions require students to live within our residence communities, but there are a handful of opportunities (such as intern roles or programmer positions) that do not have a live-in requirement
