Apply for Residence

1. Apply to the University of Alberta 

You need a Campus Computing ID (CCID) to access the online residence application form. You receive your CCID after applying for the University of Alberta. Your CCID will be activated 72-96 hours after you receive it which will allow you to apply for residence online. 

Applications for first-year undergraduate residence for Fall Term 2015 open on October 1, 2014.  All other applications for Fall Term 2015 will open on October 30, 2014.


2. Choose your residence

To choose the best residence for you, please review the "Our Residences" section. 

You may only apply for one residence for a given term. 


3. Complete your residence application online

You must pay the $25 residence application fee by credit card at the time you submit your application.


4. Confirm your space

After your application is processed, you will either:
  1. Be offered a space in residence via email* and receive your confirmation contract link OR
  2. Be placed on a waitlist

*Remember to add housing@ualberta to your email safe list so that you don't miss your room offer or updates about your application status.
